Translator, proofreader and joint owner of text translate from day one. Responsible for quality assurance in Italian and German, she translates mainly from Italian and French into German.

• Several semesters of art history and Italian literature and linguistics at the University of Basel
• Graduated as a translator from SAL (School of Applied Linguistics), Zurich
• Several years of teaching experience as an Italian teacher at various private schools in Zurich
• Diploma course in “Literary Writing” (2020), Zurich
• Translator from Italian, French and English into German and proofreader Italian/German since 1994

Lives with her husband and their terrier Clara in Zurich and Padua. Shuttling between two cultures and languages, she picks up curious phrases and snippets of conversation and is no stranger to contrasts. Always up for a good chat and a ristretto, without sugar of course.

• Semester abroad at the Université Paris-Sorbonne (Paris IV); Département Langues étrangères appliquées (LEA)
• Diplomas in marketing and business administration
• Several years of experience working as a translator and proofreader in the financial sector
• Translator from French, English, Italian into German and proofreader German/French since 1990

Loves living in Zurich, enjoys milongas, hiking in the mountains and taking in expansive scenery while driving on the highway. Life to her is not complete without hats, humour and music. Always up for interesting reports or documentaries and lively discussions on current topics.
